The lab also has a very collaborative working environment and provides individualized mentorships and tailored career plans for the students in the lab. Requirements Prospective students with an M.S or B.S degree (or expected by the time of admission) in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on exciting research projects in emerging areas of AI, big data, human-centric sensing, computing, and intelligence. Examples include: (1) human-centric AI, big data analytics; (2) social sensing, crowdsourcing, human-cyber-physical systems; (3) smart cities, Internet of Things/Everything (IoT/IoE), intelligent edge; (4) misinformation detection on online social networks.
